How much postprocessing did you do on that shot? It's interesting how the sky as reflected in the mirror is a bright blue, while the sky that you can see directly is washed-out and white.; April 23, 2008 at 1:22 PM

I did in fact stop the car while I took the photo. :)

Good question -- I actually didn't do very much in post. Basically I bumped up the saturation a bit to make the colors pop and added a bit of sharpening. I also noticed that it was interesting how the photo was definitely exposed for the content inside the mirror, and I'm happy to say that I was hoping that would happen when I switched my camera to use center-weighted metering instead of matrix metering (which is the equivalent of "Evaluative metering" in Canon parlance). Because it was metering for the center of the frame, I think the outer edges of the frame got a little blown out.; April 23, 2008 at 1:44 PM
